Best time to visit Mizoram The best time to visit Mizoram is between the months of October to March when the climate is temperate but pleasant.

How to reach Mizoram Travel to Mizoram by Air: Mizoram has its airport in the capital city of Aizawl. Several domestic airlines operate regular flights to Aizawl from Kolkata, Imphal, Guwahati and other important cities of India.

Travel to Mizoram by Rail: Mizoram does not have any Railway Station in its boundary. Silchar (Assam) is the nearest railway station, which is 184 Kms from Aizawl. Silchar is serviced by several important trains and is linked to the rest of India with convenient Railway network.

Travel to Mizoram by Road: National Highway-54 connects Aizawl with the rest of the country through Silchar. Aizawl is easily accessible from other prime northeastern cities like Shillong (450kms) and Guwahati (506kms, Imphal 374 Kms, Kohima 497 Kms, and Agartala 443 Kms by a good road network.
