Caste/Tribe in India

Usually tribe means a group of people who follow the same customs, tradition, culture and occupation. These tribes have been separated from this world and have made their own world far from the urban area. Earlier the people of these tribes were regarded as backwards but now after so many efforts, they finally achieved their identity among the higher cast people. Now they are counted as important part of free India.

The unique tradition and culture of these tribal people fascinate the people. Many archeologists have researched about their life and still they are finding new theories about them. Tribal people are living almost in all parts of the India and surviving their lives by doing agriculture and other work. People belonging to these tribes’ live in small villages and in small house. They do not have new technologies and facilities and financially they are hapless.

These tribes have their own life style, language, festivals, music, songs and dance. They celebrate their festivals altogether. They perform dances, sing tribal songs and play musical instruments. They prepare special foods for the occasion. Tribal people can be identified by their get up. They usually wear different clothes and jewelries.

The art of tribal people are famous in the world. They make baskets, mats and other items from bamboo. The elegant jewelries of these people have gained the popularity and have become the new fashion statement in India. Moreover people are learning their folk dances and songs which they perform on stages and represent their culture to the other people.
